Displaced Dishes is a beautifully designed, colourful and compact (A5) new cookbook, offering the reader 30 delicious recipes from around the world. All the recipes were donated by residents of the Samos Refugee Camp and are accompanied by their succinct personal memories and tips.

The book is a snapshot of a displaced community, expressed through its members’ most cherished dishes. These recipes offer the reader the opportunity to share in the passion and joy felt by the contributors for the food of their homeland.

In its 96 pages you can find inspiring recipes from Iran, Burundi, Syria, Iraq, Algeria, Kuwait, Greece, Palestine, Afghanistan, Djibouti, Kurdistan and Egypt. It features starters, salads, dips, and spice mixes, as well as a healthy selection of robust main dishes and of course, some mouth watering desserts.

The recipes have been tested and made as accessible as possible with notes on harder to find ingredients.

*100% of all money made from this book will be donated to Samos Volunteers*
