Roots and Branches – Community Zine

Roots and Branches is the result of a series of creative workshops held in the two Samos Volunteers community centres during the months of April and May, 2025. Over the course of these months, participants explored powerful themes such as home and belonging, culture and identity, hope and resilience, and dreams and future.

Through essays, songs, poems, and artworks, they’ve given form to emotions and memories that too often go unheard.

This magazine is not just a collection of creative pieces—it is a testament to strength and expression, to the roots we carry and the branches we grow.
